Exploration wells may be drilled in what are subsequently seen as sub- optimal positions with the benefit of new data, new knowledge and new ideas
There are several reasons for the mis - location particularly for old wildcat wells
We may need to re look at these old exploration wells to check if they have truly tested the traps
Or if there still some overlooked or hidden potentia
