Описание: During summer 2016, Berkeley Engineering hosted 120 rising sixth, seventh, and eighth-graders for the Girls in Engineering camp. Under the guidance of Berkeley faculty, staff, and students, participants took part in fun, hands-on activities during week-long summer day camps on the UC Berkeley campus. The goal of the GiE program is to engage more young students in the excitement of engineering challenges, capturing their imaginations and moving them to consider future study and careers in engineering.
