Dynasty Warriors 4: Hyper - The Rise of Cao Cao | Sima Yi

Описание: In which Sima Yi just can't get out of fighting Lu Bu.

This time I was showing all the different ways Lu Bu can show up in the stages in this Act. If you play Xia Pi, then you'll prevent him from showing up at Guan Du, however if he escapes at Xia Pi, then you play Wan Castle next, he'll show up as an enemy there and block Cao Cao's escape right at the end. Fortunately he's not super buff there so it's actually feasible to get past him if your character isn't underleveled. (I had that issue during my streams of this game, if I recall.)

However if you skip Xia Pi entirely, then Lu Bu will show up at Guan Du when you start to advance towards the north. If Yuan Shao is on the map and you manage to defeat Lu Bu, then he'll have a line for that and lose morale. Also, I like when Lu Bu challenges you to a duel here, his title is just "The Mighty Lu Bu". Also don't accept his challenge. I maaaay have had to do this twice because I decided to do that my first run and, well, you can see how that ended up at 25:40.

Oh and if you skip Wan Castle, Jia Xu doesn't appear as a sub-officer for Cao Cao in Guan Du. Small detail that's really hard to notice there.

I started using overlays for these videos since the black bars were distracting and the in-game settings only allow for a 4:3 display. You can tell the age of this game, and that it was Koei's first attempt at a PC game. When the resolution is made bigger, the text for life bars and the map all appear smaller because those just don't scale with the rest of the resolution. Anyways, I still have some videos I recorded before this without the overlays though, so I may put some more of those up after this. I'm not exactly uploading these in the order I'm playing lol.
