This Vu-Meter is composed of four LM3915 in cascade, for a total of 40 LEDs and a range of 90dB. The circuit must be powered with 9V DC and connected to the amplifier output (or preamplifier).

Components:
40x LEDs 5mm (34 Blue, 1 Orange, 5 Red)
1x LED 3mm (Any color, as you prefer)
4x LM3915 ICs
4x 18 Pin DIP
2x 1KΩ Resistor 1/4W
1x 100KΩ Resistor* 1/4W
8x 2.7KΩ Resistors 1/4W
1x 1uF @ 25-100V Electrolytic Capacitor
1x 220uF @ 25-100V Electrolytic Capacitor
1x 1N4007 Diode
1x Button (as TEST Button)

*Don't use my PCB for profit or sponsored videos.

*NB: If the first LEDs stay on without music replace this 100KΩ resistor with another 50KΩ or 10KΩ resistor.. may be necessary with some amp models.
