Paperbark Camp opened in late 1998 after Irena and Jeremy Hutchings had spent years dreaming and planning. Their camp was inspired by safari accommodations they had enjoyed on trips to Africa, an experience they thought would be perfect in the Australian bush. The Hutchings then discovered the natural beauty of Jervis Bay and their dreams began to take wing. The camp is still family-run today and welcomes guests from across the globe, whether they are people looking to escape the madness of city-life or outdoors enthusiasts hoping for a true Australian bush experience.
