Tata Tiago is already one of the highest selling entry level hatchback and now it is also available as an electric Car. Tiago EV Powertrain

Tiago EV has a permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor which delivers a output of 75ps and highest torque of 114Nm. The 0 to 60 kmph of Tiago EV is just 5.7secs.

Battery Packs in Tiago EV

Tata Tiago EV is based on Tata's Ziptron technology and will have two battery and charging options including a 24kWh battery pack and a 19.2kWh battery Pack. The domestic Charging options provided by Tata Motors to Tiago EV customers will be 3.3kW AC Charger (15Amp) which will charge the car from 10% to 100% within 8hours and second option is a 7.2kW AC Wall box Charger which will be installed at customers place or at office and this charger will charge the Car from 10% to 100% within 3hours 36mins. The other option is a commercial charger which is now available at many spots during your trip and by using this you can charge Tiago EV from 10% to 80% within 57 mins only.

Range of Tiago EV

The 24kWh battery pack will deliver a maximum range of 315KMs ( Modified Indian Driving Cycle tested) and a 19.2kWh battery pack has a MIDC range of 250KMs.

Variants and Colours

Tata Tiago EV is available in four trims but with different battery packs it may differ.

The Variants with 19.2kWh and 3.3AC kW :-

1. XE - Rs8.69/- Lakh (ex showroom)
2. XT - Rs9.29/- Lakh (ex showroom)

The Variants with 24 kWh and 3.3AC kW:-

1. XT - Rs10.19/- Lakh (ex showroom)
2. XZ+ - Rs10.99/- Lakh (ex showroom)
3. XZ+ Tech LUX - Rs11.59/- Lakh (ex showroom)

The Variants with 24 kWh and 7.2AC kW:-

1. XZ+ - Rs11.49/- Lakh (ex showroom)
2. XZ+ Tech LUX - Rs11.99/- Lakh (ex showroom)

The Colours available in Tiago EV are:- Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Midnight Plum and Tropical Mist.

Tiago EV Convenient and Connected Features

Tata Tiago EV will have multiple connected features which makes Tiago EV first in the segment to have telematics as standard features in all variants also Tata Tiago EV will have 45 connected car features with its Z connect app.

In addition to this Tiago EV also has a 8 speakers Harman infotainment system with Android auto and Apple Car Play.

Tiago EV will have premium features which makes this small electric hatch out of the league. Tiago EV will have leatherette seats, Automatic Climate control AC as standard, Projector Headlamps and Cruise Controls. Also, Tiago EV will have Automatic Headlamps, Rain Sensing wipers, Electric foldable ORVMs, Push button start and a Puncture Kit.

Safety Features

Tiago EV is based on Global NCAP 4 star rated Tiago which makes this Hatch a safe electric car. Other than this it has Hill Start and Descent Assist, DRLs and TPMS. The Battery pack of Tiago EV attains a IP67 rating and Tata Motors provide a standard warranty for Battery is 8 years or 160000kms.
