Montreal winters are long. And January is where motivation usually fades.
So for the second year in a row, I signed up for the Pas Normal Studios January Resolution Challenge on Strava.
The goal is simple. Ride 1000 kilometres in January.
No intensity targets. No ego. Just volume and consistency.
On paper, it’s about 32 kilometres a day. In reality, it’s about showing up when you don’t feel like it.
The first week is always humbling. The saddle feels harder. The trainer feels louder. Your legs don’t want to spin.
That’s when systems matter.
In this video, I talk about rebuilding the habit from zero, reducing friction in my setup, simple carb nutrition that makes daily riding possible, and why one big ride never saves you.
