Rajith Perera is a leading authority in Financial Risk Advisory, IFRS, and Financial Instruments, with over 15 years of experience at Ernst & Young (EY). As Partner – Assurance and IFRS Leader for Sri Lanka and Maldives, he advises banks, finance companies, and insurers on complex accounting, risk, and regulatory challenges.
A recognised IFRS 9 specialist, Rajith has led IMF and ADB driven Asset Quality Reviews in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and contributed to national debt restructuring and banking sector reforms.
He currently serves as Chairman of Accounting Standards Committees at CA Sri Lanka and has recently been elected to represent the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, reinforcing his influence in shaping the future of the accounting profession.
