The 14 is operated by Go Ahead London using Enviro400MMC's from Putney [AF] Garage. However, Gemini 3's & MCV Evoseti's still somehow make their way onto this route.

The route goes from Putney, Fulham, Chelsea, South Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, Mayfair, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Tottenham Court Road, Bloomsbury & Russell Square.

I filmed this in December 2024. The journey was good, but I do feel like 57 minutes is still long for an 8AM visual bruh. So imagine I filmed this at like 12PM or such later - I would've been drained...

I wanted to get to Hammersmith after doing the N5 to hopefully catch and complete the N266, so I decided to do the N97 as it is short and quick according to many people and there was no stop closures or issues according to TFL. So, I headed to the first stop at 3:50AM to catch the 4:15AM N97 as I missed it by 5 mins but I didn't really care about waiting.

So I went to the Northumberland Avenue [X] stop and I was tracking it on LVF and I stood there hoping that it would come. At 4:15PM, it didn't show up, so I gave it a few minutes to hopefully show up and then I decided to track it on LVF and it glitched at Piccadilly Circus at 4:18AM, which angered me a lot. It then dawned on me, that it may have started at the second stop, which TFL didn't alert people about. I was at Trafalgar Square for a good 1 hour because of this and missed the last N266 at Hammersmith.

So, then I had to just charge it and start from the second stop which was annoying. Thankfully, I had night footage in the same exact direction and motion from the N109 diversion. I am very glad that the diversion happened in August of last year 2024. So I decided to add that at the start to cover up for the missing part.

Anyways, the experience was very interesting. The driver was extremely slow and I didn't even enjoy the route at all. It basically follows the N74 around South Kensington and Earl's Court. I feel like the route could benefit with an extension to London Bridge via Waterloo as there is no route that goes to both Hammersmith and London Bridge areas directly. Also, it should be re-routed around Barons Court and West Kensington to not clone the N74 and even renumbered to N597 at that point.
