Terrific to see a class 58 back on the mainlines and operational under it's own power. See the amazingly well presented pair of large logo Hoovers 50007/50049 arrive from Kidderminster diesel depot. Both class 50's tasked with escorting 58023 to the SVR to (presumably) star in the upcoming Autumn Diesel Bash/Gala.
See the Hoovers split before 58023 bursts into life with a huge cloud of clag to position into place for the move to the SVR.
See all of the other locos onsite also including the recent addition of a pair of Class 68's which are onsite for evaluation purposes.
