Zineb was a 6 year old female patient from Algeria. She presented with a limb length discrepancy and she was offered limb lengthening. There are two types of limb lengthening; internal and external. Internal lengthening requires certain diameter and length of bone to be applied. External lengthening was more suitable in her case. There are two types of external lengthening; one sided with "monolateral external fixator" and circular with circular external fixator". Monolateral external fixator is more comfortable in terms of rehabilitation and postoperative comfort in certain patients. Zineb was undergone such type of limb lengthening procedure.
