CEREAL CHEVDO recipe! A healthy snack that is filled with non-fried cereals, dry fruits and its kids friendly!
The ingredients in this recipe can vary depending on which cereals you like. You can enjoy this with a cup of Chai or simply as a snack alone. Each bite is spicy, savory, and tangy.
Ingredients:
3 cups - any mixed cereals
1/2 cup - any mixed dry fruits(cut in halves)
Salt to taste
2 tbsp red chili powder (adjust to your taste)
1 tbsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp oil
Recipe:
Take a medium pan and heat oil at low flame.
1. Once oil is hot add dry fruits and sauté them for 3 minutes on low flame.
2. Add turmeric and red chili powder and combine well.
3. Add in the cereals (one by one) and mix well.
4. Lastly, add salt and roast for 10 minutes on low to medium flame or until you start to hear the crunch sound.
5. Enjoy cereal Chevdo alone or with a cup of Chai.
