I have thought about buying a Svörd Peasant knife for quite some time. I was actually promoted to finally buy one when I saw ESEE coming out with one at about 4 times the price. I decided to go with a Peasant Knife more in the price range of a peasant.
I also opted to go with a wood handle. I must say, when I first took it out of the packaging I was a little disappointed. But after a little tinkering my opinion quickly changed. I can now see why the knives have a loyal following. But there is a caveat. Like all knives, it is not going to be for everyone.
