Disclaimer: This is from the POV of one guy from one company. Other companies obviously have different rules and approaches on how they handle this matter. It is not an end-all-be-all approval or disapproval either by me or Shibuya HAL to all cases of company Vtubers leaving their company. My personal opinion on the matter differs from ShibuHal, but I don't think either opinion invalidates each other and I don't think this video should invalidate yours either. I only want to provide a single opinion for you to form your own opinion upon.

As for Patra, while she did not disclose how much she paid to 774 inc for her IP, she did mention(albeit in a joking tone) that she has to take a 35 year loan for it. So while the 35 year thing is probably exaggerated, it is presumable that the price would indeed be massive
