Who would win between Zeus and Achilles?
We will probably never know, what we can do is comparing two amazing basses: the Achilles by Overload Guitars and the Zeus by Kiesel Guitars.
The Zeus has a 34 inches scale, a bolt on construction, a black limba top over a swamp ash body, active electronics and Kiesel's pickups (which are superb), whilst the Achilles is a 37 inches, neck-through multiscale bass with a poplar master grade top, passive electronics and Nordstrand Big Blades (insane pickups).
I thought that Rage Against the Machine "Killing in the Name" was the perfect choice to display what these basses can deliver.
Both basses went through the same chain, which was essentially the Neural DSP Quad Cortex and the Darkglass Alpha Omega 900 Vs2 head patch.
