Описание: انوع رؤوس حفر الابار يوجد نوعين من رؤوس الحفر هي راس الحفر جير وراس الحفر مطرقة حيث سمي راس الحفر الجير بهذا الاسم لانه يتكون من ثلاث جيرات تعمل مع بعضها وتدور حول نفسها وكل جير يدور عكس الاخر وتتكون من الحديد والماس الرديء الغير نقي حيث يتم تطعيم رؤوس الحفر الجير بالماس الغير نقي على هيئة حبيبات وتستخدم هذه الحبيبات والبلورات لقطع الصخور نظرا لصلابة الماس الكبيرة والتي تعتبر اكبر صلابة وصلادة بين المعادن الفلزية حيث يقطع الماس جميع المعادن ويستخدم راس الحفر الجير في الرواسب الوديانية المفككة والسوائل واﻻنهار والجداول وكذلك الصخور الصلبة ولكن في حالة احتوائها على المياه الجوفية والسطحية
