SnT Partnership Day 2019: A Decade of Success

Описание: In 2019, SnT celebrated 10 years of innovation at a special edition of its annual Partnership Day.
Prof. Björn Ottersten, who launched SnT in 2009, opened #PDAY2019 by reflecting on past milestones and looking to the future. Minister of Higher Education and Research Claude Meisch emphasised that a strong form of collaboration is crucial. Keynote speaker Marc Hamilton gave insights into the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence and shared Nvidia’s perspective (1:52).
Later on, guests listened to FlashTalks, a digestible form of edutainment where 10 speakers held 5-minute talks about research, collaboration and innovation. From researchers to industry partner and entrepreneur, the audience was kept on its toes with stories ranging from new airport security tech, to a proof of concept that helps putting together your digital footprint. In the afternoon, attendees could experience 25 demos and learn more about our work across different application areas.
