You won't believe how incredibly easy it is to make mayonnaise from scratch, especially when you have an immersion or stick blender. It's far better than store bought and can be whipped up in less than 2 minutes. I have used garlic confit to give my mayonnaise a mild garlicky flavour but you can keep it plain if you prefer. Once you start making mayo from scratch, you will never buy store bought again!
