Heroic Power Fist might be even stronger on bulwark than on assault due to intimidating aura. Fencing gives easy perfect parries and you can followup with 1 light attack after intimidating aura trigger to make a majoris go into execute state. They also fixed a long standing bug with perfect parry since version 7.0 that makes intimidating aura even better for parry weapons. Previously perfect parrying attacks that don't stagger the enemy backwards would not trigger any perfect parry perks, including the 50% damage bonus perk. You mostly saw this with bosses since not no bosses other than hive tyrant would stagger back from being perfect parried. This was also present for certain attacks, like first two hits of ravener triple hit combo, 1st hit of whip warrior 4 hit combo and various hits from power sword terminator and many others. Now that it has been fixed parry weapons are a lot better.
We also utilize the charge attacks more here as they are not that bad and bulwark is able to buff them by 20% with his prestige perk with out sacrificing anything compared to assault. It was very useful in taking out tzaangor enlighteneds. We didn't utilize the dash attack very often due to being able to initiate with shield rush so the extra dash attack damage perk should have been swapped to ranged damage reduction while charging. Assault didn't have shield rush so we needed to use dash attack to initiate.
The gunstrike on finisher heroic passive is very buggy against chaos. It seems to not trigger on rubrics, enraged enemies, extremis unless they are really close when the finisher finishes or you did a finisher on tzaangor jumping at you.
Neo-Volkite also got a 10% damage buff to the beam and discharge. This is a big buff to dealing with cultists with the ammo variant. Previously with ammo variant volkite pistol and building with bottom row you would deal ~0.95 damage with the thermal ray and cultists had 2 hp. It would require 3 ticks to kill them which made the TTK feel long for them. If you built upper row you can add 10% damage but lose out on extra heating speed after gunstrike perk and Damage variant has ammo issues. Now without any range perks and ammo variant it deals 1.04 damage and kills in 2 ticks. The 2 ticks happen very quickly. I could always feel the third tick needed, but now it's almost instant death for cultist. Also the sorcerer's shields are esier to deal with. The shields had 1 hp, but if you did less than 1 damage it would go invincible and shoot back and you had to wait to shoot it again in the eye, but now it's a oneshot to take out shields. Now bulwark almost always takes the range damage prestige perk so it doesn't really matter much for him, but it is a huge buff to assault. The discharge damage also went from 36 to 40 damage, which is a pretty big buff. Still the neo volkite is weak due to low contested hp regen despite these buffs. You essentially are not working with contested hp for bulwark and assault if using this weapon. When you get hit you have no way of regaining most of your hp, unless you can somehow land a finisher or gunstrike in time. It also has pretty low gunstrike damage, and from my experience it has a hard time stopping reinforcing enemies. It requires you to hold the fire for a long time and other enemies can get in the way to block your beam.
In regards to the class build it is a pretty standard meta bulwark build with intimidating aura and invigorating icon.
