While camping nearby in the Allegheny National Forest in northwestern Pennsylvania, we decided to spend a rainy day exploring Allegany State Park just over the state line in neighboring New York. It had rained a lot the night before, despite that Bridal Falls was not flowing very well but it was still a beautiful spot along creek. The fog and rain obscured the views from Stone Tower, but otherwise the weather didn't impact our visit. Its a very nice state park and we would visit again if ever in the area.
