In this video, I walk through how to properly replace the motor bearings step by step — without damaging the windings, stripping the set screws, or trying to determine which bearing size your unit uses.

Bearing vs O-Ring Symptoms (Important)

Motor bearings are likely the issue if you notice:

• Grinding noise
• Rough or gritty feeling when rotating the motor by hand
• Vibration felt through the platform
• Jerky movement combined with grinding or vibration

If you are hearing squeaking, reduced sway, or inconsistent movement without grinding, that is usually worn motor O-rings — not the bearings.

• Smooth-faced hammer
• Small nail punch
• True 1.5mm metric Allen key (not 1/16")
• Optional: hairdryer to gently warm set screws if needed
