The Northeast sees more snow as the massive winter storm leaves thousands without electricity and at least 18-weather related deaths, authorities reported.
Over a foot of snow spanning 1,300 miles from Arkansas to New England has created traffic build-ups, flight cancellations and school closures nationwide on Monday. Up to two feet have snow was forecast in some of the places that were hit harder by the storm.
More than 800,000 power outages in the nation were reported on Monday morning, according to poweroutage.com. Most occurred in the South, where high winds and freezing rain throughout the weekend caused tree limbs and power lines to snap.
