🛠️ How to Update Your Organization Profile on GeM Portal
Step-by-Step Guide – Government e-Marketplace
✅ Step 1: Login to Your GeM Account..
Visit 👉 https://gem.gov.in
Click Login
Enter:
User ID
Password
Complete OTP verification
⚠ Only the Primary User can update core organization details.
✅ Step 2: Navigate to Organization Profile
Go to Dashboard
Click My Account
Select Organization Profile
✅ Step 3: Edit Required Fields
You can update:
✔ Organization Address
✔ Business Type (Proprietorship / LLP / Pvt Ltd / etc.)
✔ Contact Details
✔ Secondary User Information
✔ Bank Details (if required)
✔ Udyam / MSME Details
⚠ Important Notes:
Organization Name is editable only once
PAN & GST must exactly match official records
CIN is mandatory for companies registered under MCA
Bank account name must match organization name
✅ Step 4: Update Contact Details
✔ Ensure Aadhaar-linked mobile number is active
✔ Update valid email ID
✔ Verify alternate contact details if required
Accurate contact details ensure timely bid alerts and order notifications.
✅ Step 5: Upload Supporting Documents
You may be required to upload:
✔ PAN Card
✔ GST Certificate
✔ Udyam / MSME Certificate
✔ Cancelled Cheque (Bank Proof)
✔ Business Address Proof
✔ Vendor Assessment Certificate (for OEM sellers)
Ensure:
Documents are clear and readable
File size meets portal limits
Details match profile information
✅ Step 6: Validate & Save Changes
✔ Click Update
✔ Review all entries carefully
✔ Accept Terms & Conditions
✔ Complete OTP verification
Changes will be saved after successful validation.

Go to profile dashboard and check:
