This video introduces the properties, compositions, applications, products, standards and other info of Inconel 625.
Do you know what is Inconel 625?
Inconel 625 is also called UNS N06625 or W.Nr. 2.4856. It is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy. Inconel 625 is a solid solution alloy. It maintains high strength and high plasticity over a wide temperature range.
Inconel 625 has excellent overall corrosion resistance. It is stronger than most solid solution alloys. At the same time, its creep strength and fatigue strength at high temperatures are also excellent.
Inconel 625 is virtually resistant to most common corrosive substances. This makes it stand out among all alloys.
Inconel 625 can be used at temperatures from ambient to 982°C. At high temperatures, in addition to its limited resistance to Sulfidation, its comprehensive capabilities can be well guaranteed.
Nickel brings excellent structural stability, basic corrosion resistance and high temperature performance to the alloy. Chromium gives the alloy excellent oxidation resistance. Molybdenum brings excellent resistance to reductive corrosion to the alloy. In addition, molybdenum and niobium are two very effective solid solution strengthening elements. They bring excellent low-temperature and high-temperature strength to the alloy.
Inconel 625 is widely used in Aerospace, Chemical Processing, Marine, Oil & Gas, Petro Processing, Pollution & Waste, Power Generation and Welding Products.
