The New York Times Speakers Series is an annual event hosted by the Office of Global Learning Initiatives to provide an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and community members to attend a keynote lecture given by a New York Times journalist.
Maya King is a politics reporter for The New York Times covering the Southeast. She writes about campaigns, elections and movements in the American South as well as national trends relating to Black voters and young people.
