Hay nets can be a horse owner's best friend- and also the biggest pain in their butt. We tried them years ago and hated them and gave up on it. Now for health reasons we're back at it, but we've learned a couple tricks along the way that make the whole thing much easier!!
Edit: this is a link to the exact product we are using, it's the "Hanging Bag" with 1.5" holes (though if I was to purchase again I'd buy the 1" holes to slow them down even further). Again, this is (sadly) not an affiliate link, I get no kickbacks, it's just really handy and I hope it helps.
