how to propagate a cactus 🌵

this is so much easier than it may seem, just make sure you use gloves that are specifically made for handling cacti or twist off pieces using a pair of tongs.

before planting in soil, let these guys sit out for 24-48 hours so the bottoms can callous. this prevents your propagations from rotting, which prevents your propagations from being able to grow roots (aka pulling apart your plant for no reason 😅).
