It is responsible for producing many zinc-containing hormones which are used to create T-cells for immune, autoimmune, and endocrine health. Cortisol is a stress-related hormone. High levels of cortisol can lead to zinc deficiency, potentially leading to immune, autoimmune, and mood disorders.
The heart chakra is located in the center of the chest, slightly above the heart. It is associated with love, compassion, and emotional balance. When aligned, it can lower stress levels and therefore, cortisol levels.
