To turn the "in phase" into an "out of phase" sound you just need to flip the coil.
It's a nice and easy modification for every guitar with two different pickups.
Very suitable for my Epiphone Les Paul special TV yellow.
The result is a kind of throaty sound.
A lot of guitar players loved to use the out of phase sound, eg Peter Green, T Bone Walker, Brian May of Queen and Frank Zappa. And me two, of course.
