Replacing MODE MOTOR ASSEMBLY in 2012 Honda Pilot EXL. Defrost stopped working although the vehicle would still produce air (blower working) and I could raise or lower the temperature on both sides of my dual climate control system (blender door actuators working on both sides). Mode would not cycle to feet or defrost; stuck blowing at face. Mode motor stopped working.
Realized after I posted the video that lowering or raising the temperature prior to replacing the mode motor does nothing for the position of the mode motor; this component is not controlled by the temperature setting.
