Deep within the hushed embrace of a verdant forest, a vision began to take root – the Roble Huacho House, destined to be more than just a dwelling. It was conceived as a sanctuary for a married couple, a sculptor and a psychologist, a place where their creative spirits could intertwine with the tranquility of nature. Their two children, frequent visitors, would find a welcoming haven there, a testament to family and shared moments amidst the whispering leaves.

The initial brief was thoughtful, pragmatic, yet open to evolution. The owners envisioned a phased construction, a two-level grid layout that would allow for future expansion if their needs changed. The first stage, they decided, would rise gracefully above ground, forming a distinct presence within the landscape. The subsequent addition, if required, would cleverly tuck itself beneath the earth, establishing a solid plinth from which the main structure would emerge. This modular approach promised a structured yet adaptable development for their forest retreat.

However, as often happens with dreams that truly resonate, the scope of the project broadened. The couple, captivated by the allure of the forest and the promise of their evolving home, made a pivotal decision: Roble Huacho House would become their main residence. This shift in purpose led to an intriguing overlap of the two proposed construction stages, no longer sequential but seamlessly integrated into a singular, more ambitious design.
