Описание: The Mega event of KEMHOW, RAISON D’ÊTRE 2025, was held on the 26th and 27th of August, with the central theme of “Inferiority Complex” shedding light on the low self-esteem the Ummah faces in the shadow of the West and its ideologies.

On Day 2, there was a thought-provoking lecture by Dr. Rasheed Arshad, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Punjab University and CEO of the Ghazali Forum. He addressed the causes and manifestations of the "Inferiority Complex in Muslims", highlighting how Modern Institutions have eroded confidence in our Intellectual and Spiritual heritage.

Dr. Rasheed provided a deep philosophical and historical analysis of the inferiority complex, tracing its roots to colonial encounters, intellectual subjugation, and cultural domination. He explored how these psychological scars continue to manifest in our everyday behavior.

The Colonial Rule imposed on the people of the subcontinent apparently ended in 1947. But, this prolonged period left deep scars and long lasting impressions on the mindset of the Muslims of the subcontinent, pushing them into an inferior state of mind.

They began to revere the West as symbol of progress and enlightenment. Even after seventy-eight years of independence, traces of this submissive mentality persist. Many remain captivated by the West’s outward glamour—its pristine streets, towering buildings and the hoax of liberty—while overlooking the stark realities of moral decline and rampant materialism.

Today, more than ever, it is essential to recognize the illusion of Western grandeur and to rediscover strength and pride within our own rich Islamic tradition.
