In the previous financial year , Kwale County Government received two markets at Melikubwa and Samburu, as well as three water kiosks from the Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA).
Kwale Governor H.E Salim Mvurya thanked the authority during the handing over ceremony saying the projects are a result of his administration's close cooperation with the national government and furthermore said the projects will improve water supply for Maji ya Chumvi residents and give traders a decent place to sell their products.
The PS infrastructure Mr Julius Korir, Chief Administrative Secretary Infrastructure Dr Chris Obure, KeNHA chairman Erastus Mongera and KeNHA Director General Eng. Peter Mundinia among other top officials handed over the facilities.
