The plant behind us looks incredible. We do not.
Which feels strangely appropriate for a conversation about not having everything fully dialed in.
We thought making a big life change would bring clarity. That once the hustle stopped, we’d automatically know what this next chapter was supposed to look like.
It didn’t work that way.
The old metrics don’t quite fit anymore.
But the new ones haven’t revealed themselves yet either.
So what happens after the hustle?
After the building years?
After the constant productivity scoreboard?
This is a conversation about being somewhere in the middle — not who we were, not entirely sure who we’re becoming — and learning to be okay with that.
