Both are Jaagrat and Svapnavaste niyamaka roopa. – i.e., Vishvambara roopa with 19 heads.

The Central face of Vishvambara roopa is Gajamukha, whereas the other 18 faces are human and other faces.

Ganesha was doing the chintana of “Vishvambara roopa” of Srihari. As such, he got the Gajamukha.
