Описание: As a Japanese artist, I tried to express the traditional Japanese aesthetic of "Yugen" (a profound, mysterious sense of beauty) through the Oud - a traditional Arabic instrument and a sibling to the Japanese Biwa.
By using Arabic scales and instrumentation rather than Japanese ones, I hope to explore the universality of our human sense of beauty. I hope you will be able to sense this through this performance.
