The 'Model Railway Weekend' at the Bluebell Railway always promises to be a spectacular event, and consistently delivers. With 3 service trains in operation working an intensive timetable, a wide variety of model layouts and trade stands in attendance at both Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes, and open access to areas normally off-limits to the public, it's little wonder that the event proves popular every year.
At Sheffield Park, Model Layouts had taken over the Locomotive Works as well as the new Maintenance Shed. Meanwhile at Horsted Keynes, the Platforms and the Carriage Workshops were full of exhibitors. Kingscote had something a little different on offer, with a 7 1/4" Miniature Railway operating over the course of the event.
Included in the video are a few shots of a couple of the Model Railway layouts at Sheffield Park, most notably of Invicta Gauge 1.

Ex-SR Q Class - 30541
SE&CR O1 Class - 65
Fresh from overhaul, BR Standard Class 4MT Tank - 80151 was also on display in the yard at Sheffield Park.
