Описание: Having been lead designer in delivering a with a fast track 8 bed ITU facility during the pandemic, HMY were asked by East Kent Hospitals to develop a concept design for a new 24 bed ITU facility at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. Working closely with the clinical team we developed the brief, concept layout and content in order to tender the project as an off-site Modular building. HMY then acted as client Architect Representative reviewing the developing designs by MTX and Day Architects to achieve sign-off and then monitoring the construction and handover. The result is a 21st century facility doubling the capacity and designed to manage patients existing and future pandemics. Jane Kirk Smith, Critical Care Matron at William Harvey Hospital says: “It’s incredibly exciting to see our new unit come to life after months pouring over plans with the build team. Dr Mark Snazelle, the Trust’s lead doctor for Critical Care says: “This new unit will be a welcome boost for our team and ensure that we have the best possible environment to care for our most critically ill patients.”
