Alaska’s manufacturing community sat down with U.S. Senator Dan Sullivan for a virtual roundtable on December 9 to dig into the Working Families Tax Cuts Act (WFTCA), formerly known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).
This conversation wasn’t your standard policy download. It was a real-time look at how national legislation connects to on-the-ground opportunities for Alaska’s makers, producers, and manufacturers.
In this session, Senator Sullivan discussed how the WFTCA is designed to strengthen American manufacturing, support small businesses, and create new pathways for growth across Alaska. Manufacturers from every corner of the state joined to learn, question, and shape the dialogue.
Whether you’re a small-batch food producer, an industrial fabricator, a rural entrepreneur, or an Alaskan curious about where manufacturing fits in our economy, this conversation offers a clear window into how national policy may shape the future of making things in the North.
