Malaysian football has been embroiled in one of football's biggest scandals ever. They have been accused of fielding 7 non-Malaysian players in their national team in a game against Vietnam. But the chaos doesn't end there. Malaysia's football system and database was hacked TWICE and held ransom. Everything seems to be falling apart. Seven players — Gabriel Felipe Arrocha, Facundo Tomas Garces, Rodrigo Julian Holgado, Imanol Javier Machuca, Joao Vitor Brandao Figuiredo, Jon Irazabal Iraurgui, and Hector Alejandro Hevel Serrano — currently lack the papers needed to prove their eligbility for the Malaysian national team. This could see Malaysia disqualified from the AFC Asian Cup, AFC Champions League Elite, and more. It will have a big impact on Johor Darul Ta'zim, who have three of their players suspended for 12 months.
