za man barī ba-madīna sabā salāmun 'alaika
chunāñ ki mī burad ahl-e-vafā salāmun 'alaika

rasāñ-rasāñ ba-dar rauza-e-rasūle-e-karīm
ba-sad tazarru za mā be-navā salāmun 'alaika

ba-rū za ’ain-e-tavaqqo’ ki az gunah-gāram
na rad kunī ba-pazīrī shahā salāmun 'alaika

za ḳhasta ’ājiz-o-miskīn-o-nā-tavāñ 'jāmī'
rasāñ ba-hazrat-e-ū ai ḳhudā salāmun 'alaika

📖 English Translation:
Carry my greetings to Madina, O breeze, peace be upon you,
Just as the loyal ones convey, peace be upon you.

Convey them gently to the door of the noble Prophet ﷺ,
With my humble supplication, from one who is destitute, peace be upon you.

I come in hope though burdened with sins,
Do not turn me away, O King — accept me, peace be upon you.

From the broken, the weak, the helpless ‘Jami’,
Deliver this message to His presence, O Lord — peace be upon you.
