Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are two countries in Central Asia, mostly known for some of the highest mountain ranges on the Earth- Pamir and Tian Shan. A famous route crosses these countries, known as Pamir Highway, starting from Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, and ending in Osh, Kyrgyzstan. But in this video series, I proceed even further in Kyrgyzstan, to some of the most beautiful mountains in the world- Terskey Alatoo, a part of Tian Shan.
In this video, I leave the Ferghana Valley and back to the high mountains. My route crosses the Ferghana Range of Tian Shan. I start from Jalal-Abad and follow the old road to Kazarman through Koldomo Pass. Most of it is a dirt road that soon will be abandoned because there is a new, perfect paved road connecting Jalal Abad with Kazarman and the middle of Kyrgyzstan.
