Nina Zolt - 21st Century Learners

Описание: A tenacious advocate for educational equity and teacher advancement through technology, Nina Zolt founded In2Books in 1997, co-founded ePals in 2007, and Cricket Media in 2014. In2Books is a research-tested common core eMentoring program that has received numerous awards, including the CODIE Award for Best Reading/English Instructional Solution in 2012. In 2007, she co-founded ePals, a K-12 education media company serving more than 1 million classrooms in 200 countries and territories. From 2007-2013, Ms. Zolt served as the Chief Learning Officer at ePals and In2Books. In 2014, Zolt co-founded CricketMedia, a K-12 education media company that provides award-winning content on a safe and secure learning network for children, families and teachers across the world, including Babybug, Ladybug, Cricket® and Cobblestone®.
Ms. Zolt has extensive experience as an entertainment lawyer, digital media executive, and designer of digital learning products. She served as a member of the Washington D.C. Advisory Board of Directors for Teach for America (2000-2011) and the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching (2004-2010). She also served as an Advisory Board Member for the International Reading Association (2008-2010). She has an A.B. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and honorary doctorates from National-Louis University (2004) and from Bryant College (2012). In 2007, Boston University School of Law awarded Zolt its Silver Shingle Award for distinguished service to the community.
