On 15 March 2023, FAO Liaison Office in Geneva, in collaboration with the FAO Markets and Trade Division, organized the FAO in Geneva Agriculture Trade Talks “Global trade, agricultural supply chains and responsible sourcing: Sustainability-driven trade requirements, agricultural cooperatives, and access to markets and upstream suppliers.”
This session of the trade talk addressed how upstream actors – including agricultural cooperatives – in the agrifood sector can address development challenges to meet the changing market needs of exports, trade and sustainability.
