Forrest Gump - Feather Theme (Piano Version)

With this video I want to celebrate my 500,000 subscribers with you! Maybe you know the famous opening scene from Forrest Gump, in which a feather floats down from the sky while the most famous film music by Alan Silvestri, the Main Theme from Forrest Gump, also known as the "Feather Theme", can be heard. So, as a 500k special, my idea was to let a feather float down for each note. I hope you enjoy it. Note: This time I did not arrange the music myself. It is an official piano arrangement published by the Hal Leonard Corporation (You can find the link above).

Incidentally, Alan Silvestri is also responsible for the well-known Avengers theme of which I made a piano version a year ago (You can watch it here:    • The Avengers - Main Theme (Piano Version)   ). The soundtracks from "Forrest Gump" and "The Avengers" could not be more different. This shows what a versatile composer he is. And another fun fact: Alan Silvestri was originally hired to compose the music for "Pirates of the Caribbean". His name was already used in the movie trailers. However, the cooperation between director Gore Verbinski and Silvestri probably did not work so well, which is why Alan Silvestri got fired and Hans Zimmer's composing team was asked to compose a new music in only 19 days. I think Silvestri's soundtrack would have been great anyway. Now three times you can guess what I'm going to do next. ;-)
