Описание: Spring Lake Village President Joyce Verplank Hatton and Spring Lake Village Manager Christine Burns discuss the possibility of disincorporating the Village of Spring Lake. A “yes” vote on Aug. 8 would not put the official process of disincorporation into motion, but rather amend the charter to allow the village to create a mechanism to do so. Should the August proposal be accepted by voters, a second vote to begin the legal process of disincorporation would be required on the Nov. 8 ballot in both the village and township.
