Описание: Second day in Athens we decided to go the sites and area around the Flee Markets and Monastiraki Square. We purchased a 30 day Metro or Transport pass for 28 EU each and plan to make good use of it.
Being Sunday we assumed that many of the shops . stalls must have been closed. We will go back another day. Still enough open and plenty of attractions to keep us busy.
From many areas you get a good view of the Acropolis in the background.
In the square I stood up on a raised area to get a better view. On the way down did not see the small step in the flooring. I don't know how many times we have said "wish we had a video of that" before we finally captured one of THOSE moments. Luckily, for everyone's amusement the Insta360 captured it all - go to the 4:10 minute mark.
