Miniature Tree Skirts
Supplies:
White muslin 1.5 yards
Marking Utensil
String/ Thread
Scissors
To find the size of these, since we're working with Mini-Trees, we need to take the height of the tree, plus 2 inches.
For example, I am using 20", 14", and 8" trees. so I will cut 22", 16", and 12" squares. I want the little one to have a larger circumference because of the stands, which are all the same.
Fold said squares in half twice to find the center and mark with an X on the fold lines.
I have a circle measuring tool, from when I used to Bullet Journal, that I used to mark a 1.5" circle around the center mark.
then I tied the string around my marking utensil to mark the outer circle for cutting. If you possess a circle cutter, skip this step.
Cut the circles out along the lines drawn.
*Don't be like me.... use something to hold down the edges so the fabric won't move as much.
When both circles are cut then cut a straight line from the outside to the center.
Then add them to your Mini-Tree display!
These are not meant to last more than one season. They're not sewn, or quilted in any way.
This has been a simple No Sew Project that costs less than $10.
Enjoy!
*Dinos not included!
