India’s 1st Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) Toll System Launched by National Highways Authority of India

Описание: India has launched its first Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling system, marking a major milestone in highway infrastructure modernization. The initiative has been introduced by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Under this new system, vehicles will no longer need to stop at toll plazas for payment. Instead, toll charges will be automatically deducted, ensuring smoother traffic flow and saving travel time.

Currently, the system is being implemented on a toll plaza along National Highway 48 in Gujarat as a pilot project. NHAI has announced plans to expand MLFF across all national highways in the country by December this year.

The system is expected to improve logistics efficiency, speed up freight movement, and contribute significantly to India’s economic growth.
