Jeppe High School For Boys - Virtual Armistice Day

Описание: For the first time in the history of the school, The 102nd Annual Armistice Day Service has moved online. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic the school opted to move the service online to ensure that the community remains safe at this time while also remembering the people that sacrificed their lives and so that they may be honoured, and remembered in this way during this difficult time. The 11th of November 1918 is remembered as the day of the signing of the armistice that brought the First World War to an end. In previous years, the service was attended by ex-servicemen, representatives of the armed forces as well as members of the greater Jeppe Community. This years’ Service was pre-recorded and put together by various members of the Jeppe Boys Staff and Team. Please join us as we pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during the First And Second World War.
The online service follows a similar program to that of the past years, which includes the following:
